Prompt number twenty-two, "wish."

I felt this prompt very strongly; it hit hard. I poured my feelings onto the keys, thinking about every dream and wish of mine done on a wing and a prayer, including some recent wishes of mine. I fought off tears immediately upon finishing it.

This piece was intended to have lyrics and I wrote them as far back as 2009, but I haven't got the physical or emotional strength to handle lyrics. So I improvised this much slower rendition. But one day, when the time is right, I'll do the original vocal version.
